Diwali, known as the Festival of Light, is one of the most popular and biggest Hindu festivals. Hindus in India and other parts of the world celebrate Diwali festival with complete happiness and passion. Diwali is a 5-day long festival wherein different activities and traditions are observed. One of the most special features of Diwali is lighting Diyas. People in India light up oil lamp in their homes, hence the name Festival of Light. Other spectacles of Diwali are Laxmi Puja, exchanging gifts and sending Diwali greetings and wishes.
