Ingredients

  • ½ Cup of Oda
  • 1 tablespoon of Sugar
  • 12 Cashew Nuts
  • 1 ½ cup of Grated Coconut
  • 2 Tablespoon of Kishmish
  • 4 Green Cardamoms
  • 1 Cup of Palm Jaggery
  • ½ cup of ghee

How to cook Ada Pradhaman

1. Heat about 2 tablespoon of ghee and fry the ada.

2. Combine the cardamoms and sugar together. Then, grind into a fine powder. Set aside.

3. Sauté the kishmish and cashew nuts in 2 tablespoon of heated ghee. Wait til it becomes light brown.

4. Put 1 cup of hot water in grated coconut and extract the milk from it. Then, add another 1 cup of water and extract the juice on it – resulting to 2 cups of coconut milk.

5. Grind the jaggery into powder and set aside.

6. Put the second coconut milk extract and a cup of water in a pot. Add the ada and let it boil.

7. Then, stir in the jaggery. Wait until the mixture thickens.

8. Heat the rest of the ghee and add to the mixture. Add the first coconut milk extract and fried fruits to the mixture. Still well and wait until it is cooked.

9. Top with the ground cardamoms. Serve.
